Death is difficult, but it’s something that we all have to face. Losing loved ones is something we’ll all experience in our lives and the team over at Caring.com have compiled a few regrets that people who have lost people have had once they’ve gone. The idea is to help other people not have those regrets when they find themselves in similar situations.
These include not waiting until the last minute to say what you want to say. It’s hard to predict when a dying person is going to have their final moments so be sure you say everything you want to say whilst you can. Another one is to keep talking, even if you’re unsure if you’re being heard. Your loved one might be able to hear you and even if they cannot respond through words, we do hear stories of people squeezing the hands of their family.
Be sure that you have no regrets when saying your goodbyes.
